We are exited about the HELPLINE service that supports local seniors.

Helpline Offers a Friendly Voice and Reassurance for Centereach's Isolated or Homebound Seniors 

Centereach, New York is rightly regarded as the "Heart of Long Island." Our hamlet's location near the center of Brookhaven's town confirms we are at the nexus of all good and kind things happening in the region, stretching from Long Island Sound across the Island to the Great South Bay.  

Our seniors deserve support and assistance. Helpline is a free telephone program that keeps seniors, who frequently are at risk of becoming isolated and homebound, connected with the community. Volunteers make a daily call, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays: 

• Checking in on wellness and mood
• Reassuring that someone is always there 
• Answering questions and linking services
• Providing a friendly ear
