Centereach Significant Water Damage
Unfortunately, the leak from the pressurized plumbing line soaked the laminated wood planks until they buckled from the absorbed water. Our SERVPRO (WRT) water damage restoration technicians salvaged as much of the flooring as possible. Our quick response and drying did manage to save the trim work and walls from demolition, which greatly decreased the severity of this water-damaging event. The drying process, carefully monitored with moisture meters and an infrared imaging camera, ensured that after an application of an antimicrobial agent to inhibit mold growth, the living room and entranceway were ready for a build back, "Like it never even happened."
